Privacy
No accounts, no cookies, no personal data. Here's what BrawlRare stores and why.
What we store, and why
Every time you look up a Player Tag, BrawlRare saves an Account Snapshot (your public profile at that moment) so it can show what changed since your last visit. It also saves your battle log with every other player's name and tag removed, so a future stats page has data to start from. None of this needs your name, email or any account of ours: the Player Tag is all it takes.
No accounts, no cookies
There's no sign-up and no login. Your browser remembers your last-looked-up tag, any Resources you type into the Upgrade Planner and your answer to the first-visit check, stored only on your device. BrawlRare's analytics count visits and button presses, not people: no cookies, no personal data, so no consent banner is needed.
Players aged 16 and over
BrawlRare is for players aged 16 and over. On your first visit it asks for your birth month and year to check this. It doesn't keep the date: it saves only whether you can carry on, on your device. If you're under 16, nothing is saved about you or any Player Tag.
How long we keep it
A tag nobody has looked up for 12 months is deleted automatically, along with everything saved for it. Older Snapshots are thinned to one per week after 90 days, so history stays useful without growing forever.
Delete everything, any time
Look up your tag, then press "Forget my tag" on your account page. It deletes your player record, every Account Snapshot, your tracking status and every stored battle immediately. You can also delete by tag without looking it up: Delete saved data.
